No points for a good try
Mixed bedrooms are not approved of by the Buller High School board of governors, writes the Westport reporter of "The Press.”
A board member put his foot down when students at a recent Interact seminar decided that boys and girls would sleep in the same room.

Mr W. Borlase said the students did not argue when he told them they could not sleep in one room.
Mr Borlase agreed with the principal, Mr G. A Leary, who commented: “It was worth a try though, wasn’t it?”
