Stone report considered
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, June 19. The Meat Board met to- . day to consider the report I of the Stone committee, I which was set Up to advise on the involvement of producers in meat processing. But the board will not I disclose the result of its dei liberations until it has cleared up a procedural ! matter with the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Moyle).
The board is expected to issue a statement tomorrow after it has received a formal letter from the Minister. Mr Moyle’s letter will ask the board to reconsider the take-over bids for the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Ltd, by Southland Frozen Meat and Produce Export Company, Ltd, and Waitaki Industries, Ltd.
