President Suharto said that there was a latent danger of communism in Indonesia, and ordered the | militarv commanders to increase the co-ordination of Government agencies. The Minister of Information (Mr Mashuri) said after: a Cabinet meeting that members of the outlawed Indonesian Communist Partv were encouraged by communist victories in Indo-China, and: there was “a plot to activate! them, as indicated by the: recent support given by China for the Indonesian Communist Party.”
