Springboks pick one newcomer
(N.Z.P.A.Reuter—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG. South Africa has included one new cap in its team to play France in the first Rugby test at Bloemfontein on June 21.
The front-row forward, Derek van den Berg, is the newcomer in a side showing five changes from that which played in two internationals during last year's tour of France.
The team is: D. Snyrnan, C. Fourie, J. Oosthuizen, P. Whipp, C. Pope, G. Bosch, P. Ravei, P. Bezuidenhout, R. Cockrell, Van den Berg, P. Grobler, de Klerk, M. van Herden, J. Kritzipger, M. du Plessis (captain). Transvaal beat the French team, 28-22, at Johannesburg on Saturday, after leading 16-9 at half-time.
