Sun in Cathedral Square

Sir, — I enjoy walking across Cathedral Square at lunchtime. But yesterday Ij noticed that if the Govern ? ment Life building had been? as tall as the new A.M.P.' building, there would have! I been much less sun in the! i Square, especially outside the Post Office. We should i be glad that the Government! Life building is as low as it; is because, especially in the? winter, it is the sun which! is so important. But what of I the future? There are still a? few spaces for new build-1 ings. What will they do to? the sun in the Square? — Yours, etc.,
