We expect the man apaointed will be be’*een 30-4' years of age and he must have had sound experience in financial and management accounting, and in the control of staff. An exposure to E.D.P. is desirabe as many of the Company's records are Computer based. A minimum Qualification is membership of ’ e New Zealand Society of Accountants. He will be responsible to the Chief Executive for the maintenance of accounting systems ond for the overall control of an accounting staff of 80. Particular emphasis is placed on prompt preparation of financial information, including annual and half-yearly accounts. He will also be responsible for the completion of a monthly management report package which is currently being introduced. The position is an interesting ond challenging one. The Chief Accountant will be a member of the management team and he will be looked to for the further development cf management information systems. Dependent on qualifications and experience a salary in excess of SI 1.000 is offered a company car will be provided, and other fringe benefits will apply.
