Admiral’s Cup record entry

The Royal Ocean Racing Club has confirmed a record entry of 19 teams for the biennial Admiral’s Cup yachting series which will be raced off Cow’es in August Entries include three yachts from New Zealand, 'under the manager, Mr Peter Comes, and the captain, Chris Bouzaid. The New Zea land vachts are Inca, owned by Mr E. Julian, Gerontius. owned by Mr G. Eder, and Mr R. Jarden’s Barnacle Bill. Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Canada are sending teams to challenge for the trophy for the first time.
Other competing nations are Argentina, Australia, Brazil. Italy, Norway, Spain. South Africa, Sweden, and United States, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, and Britain
