I'he Belgian Prime Mims- ’ ter (Mr Leo Jindemansi yesterday survived the worst crisis of his year-eld Admin istration when Parliament passed a vote of confidence in his Cabinet over its deci jsion to buy U.S. fighter | planes. The vote ended a crisis [that threatened to topple the (ruling coalition of Social Christians, French-language federalists and Right-wing liberals. ' The vote was 112 in favour [with 91 against, with, three (abstentions. I The crisis occurred be(cause the small RassembleIment Walloon (R.W.) Federalist Party, who hold the bal lance of power in the Government. opposed the purchase of American Fl 6 aircraft and backed the rival French Mirage Fl.
