Sir,—l would like to sup-; port “Wondering’s” letter about the Treasure Chest' raffle. As the entry money! I was quite large, surely ticketholders are entitled to some: consideration. We have never; received any letter of post-1 ;ponement and consider noti[fication of this should have been printed in the newspapers. Perhaps Mr Brockett would care to provide a postal address where patrons could ask for their money! back if they so wish.—Yours,! etc., TICKET-HOLDER. . April 14, 1975. [Mr A. J. Ebert, organiser!, of the Christmas Treasure!; Chest competition, replies: “On December 21, 1974, an; advertisement appeared in all! metropolitan newspapers ad-1 vising of a dlosing date extension. This was followed on, February 28 to all purchasers in the Christmas Treasure Chest competition. On March 24 a detailed letter was again sent to all these ticket-holders advising all details of the new substitute competition and at the same time offering an alternative or a cash refund if the new competition ! was not acceptable. Every [ effort was made to keep ' ticket-holders fully informed ' of the change of plans. Mailing addresses were obtained [ from the Christmas Treasure ' Chest butts, and only in the 1 case of a nom-de-plume with 1 no address or alternatively a blank butt would there be any i problem in contacting the I people concerned.”]
