New air service
From June 4 people will be able to travel from Westport to Christchurch in less than two hours. N.A.C. will introduce its new Westport-Christchurch service next month. From Monday to Friday the flight will leave Westport at 1.10 p.m., arriving at Christchurch, via Hokitika, at 2.50 o.ni. The fare will be $21.30. The Sunday flight, via Nelson, will leave at 2.10 p.m. and arrive at 5.25 p.m. The fare will be $27.70. Departure times from Christchurch will be: 12.20 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10.15 a.m. on Sunday.
