Civic organ
Sir, — I fully agree with “M.1.M.” in his statement that Mr Cyril Evans be given some public recognition for his work in connection with the civic organ. Had the City Council been a little less hasty, Mr Evans’s work behind the scenes could well have kept the organ in Christchurch. Thank you, Cyril.—Yours, etc., J.C.D. May 12, 1975.
