Mr Muldoon promises inquiry

Press Association) j AUCKLAND. | A National Government would instigate an inquiry ! into the practical methods i of applying inflation , accounting to New Zea--1 land companies, the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Muldoon) told the ■ Institute of Directors in Auckland on Friday. The inquiry' would compare the various methods from around the world in the context of the New Zealand economy and the business structure. It would also look at the changes in the incidence of taxation which would result, Mr Muldoon said.
