WITNESSES AT SCHOOL

Jehova’s Witnesses are holding a “school” in Christchurch to teach church elders their duties.

The classes, usually held in Auckland, will last for a fortnight. Twenty-six elders from Christchurch, the West Coast and towns further south are attending to learn their responsibilities as overseers and teachers.

Other classes are being held in Auckland and Palmerston North, involving more than 120 people.
