Deportation order
<N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. A young woman who was convicted on a charge of taking a file into Mount Eden Prison in a bunch of bananas on March 18 appeared for sentence before Mr C. E. H. Pledger, S.M., on Wednesday. Debbie Joy Lebherz, aged 17, an Australian, yvas discharged yvithout penalty. On a further count of receiving a quantity of jewellery, she yvas ordered to be deported to Australia. The probation report said that Lebherz yvas seven months pregnant and it was best for her to be with her mother.
