HANG-GLIDER INJURED
A man was injured when his hang-glider crashed at Waimairi Beach at 3.25 yesterday afternoon. The man, Pierre Daigneault, of 258 Edgeware Road, St Albans, suffered a fractured arm.
His brother, Mr Guy Daigneault, said he had been using sand dunes at Waimairi Beach for a launching pad.
