OBITUARY Mr G.S. Edgar

Mr George Sinclair Edgar, a Dunedin sharebroker and chartered accountant died suddenly.
Mr Edgar was known particularly for his work with the Otago Automobile Association, especially as treasurer.
He was born in 1911 in Tapanui. He entered private practice as a charteerd accountant in Dunedin in 1944 and had been a member of the Dunedin Stock Exchange since 1948. Mr Edgar gave up his accountancy partnership in 1970, and since that time had been engaged predominantly in sharebroking Mr Edgar is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
