Rolls-Royce profit
The pre-tax profit of Rolls Royce Motor Holdings. Ltd, rose £655.000 to £4,954.000 in the full 1974 year, on turnover £10.3m higher at £sB4m. However, increased provision for taxation, £343,000 higher at £2.4m, extraordinary debts of £323,000 and minority interests reduced the net profit to £2,236.000, £13,000 lower than for last year. The company is to pay a steady total dividend of 3p a share. With the introduction of' the Rolls Camargue earlier this month, the company hopes that the 1975 takings will be better.
