TEMPORARY JOBS
The Government is asking hospital boards throughout the country if thev can help I with temporary jobs should I special measures to combat : rising unemployment be introduced in the next few months.
i The North Canterbury Hospital Board was told yesterday that the Labour Department had approached the Hospital Boards’ Association for help. The department was prepared to help boards financially if they could find jobs for people out of work.
