Reformers’ patron
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Lady Harris, the wife, of Sir Jack Harris, of Waikanae, has accepted the office of patron of the Abortion Law Reform Association. A former president of the Hutt Valley branch of the Plunket Society, Lady Harris is the mother of three children and the grandmother of five.
She came to New Zealand after a career in theatre and broadcasting in Australia, and has written books on food, travel, and entertaining.
