A total of 236,000 shares I was traded on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday, 111,700 more than on Tuesday. Industrial issues totalled ’230,000 (Tuesday 218,300) land mining/oii issues 6000 ‘ (Tuesday 6000). One hundred and twenty (issues were traded. The six most active stocks were:— Feltex .. 16,500 Steel, Tube .. 11,100 U.E.B. .. 10,700 Challenge .. 9,400 Dom. Brew. .. 9,100 Forest ~ 8,300
