Union inquiry report soon

WELLINGTON, March 12. The full report of the committee of inquiry into allegations of intimidation of union members at Kinleith would be released for publication on Friday, said the Minister of Labour (Mr Faulkner) today. The inquiry was conducted by Mr R. K. Davison, Q.C.
Mr Faulkner will issue a statement to accompany the report. He said time was taken to seek legal advice on the constitutional position to ensure that he did not have a primary responsibility to present the report to Parliament before releasing it generally.
