Youth leads in croquet

An 18-year-old youth, Pau) Skinley, of Dannevirke, appears likely to win the President’s invitation croquet title. _ ter 12 completed rounds, Skinley leads with nine wins, followed by John Prince. Bob Jackson and Alan Anderson, all with eight wins. The current title holder and early favourite for this year’s crown, John Prince, dropped one game to Alan Anderson, narrowly losing, 23-26. But in the other two rounds be just pipped Arthur Ross. 26-24, and then thrashed Clift Anderson, 26-0, which included a triple peel, his third for the tourney. Results:—
