Borg hurt in car crash
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) STOCKHOLM. Tlie Swedish teen-age tennis star. Bjorn Borg, was rushed to hospital with shock and cuts after tile car he was driving overturned on an icy bend in central Sweden at the week-end. Borg, aged 19, was discharged from hospital in Falun later after having several stitches inserted in the index finger of his right hand. Borg was due to travel to London to compete in the Rothmans tournament, but he now hopes to resume tournament play in two weeks.
Borg was blinded by the lights of an oncoming car. His car overturned three times but Borg was saved by his seatbelt and stepped from the badly damaged vehicle practically uninjured.
