Scottish Society, country dancing, beginner’s class, corner of Edgeware and Caledonian Roads, 7.30 p.m.; W.E.A., bridge for beginners, 1 to 3 p.m., 59 Gloucester Street: Catholic Women’s League, seminar, “Day for Women,” Limes Room, Town Hall, 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Y.W.C.A., yoga, Latimer Square, 5.30 to 6.30 p.m.; Canterbury Hockey Association, open night, Canterbury Court, 7 p.m.; Christchurch . Casting and Fishing Club, talk on wet and dry-fly fishing, Tennis Club Pavilion, Hagiey Park, 7.30 p.m.; Christchurch Tape-Recording Club, open club evening; Shirley-St Albans Activity Club, demonstrations, 9.30 to 11.30 a.m., St Stephen’s Church, Street.
