Symphony Orchestra
Sir, — What is Mr T. W. Turner trying to do? Have we not had enough trouble and heartache concerning the Christchurch orchestra? If there is a meeting this month, I hope it will not be a repetition of the riotous gathering of November 13 last year. We have a conductor and an orchestra of 40 players. All we want now is to hear them play music in “harmony.”—Yours VERY MUCH CONCE. March 2, 1975.
