<NZ Pret» A»»oetatlo«t» WELLINGTON. March 3. More than sl2m will be made available for housing by a Government measure announced today. Government security ratios applying to trustee and private savings banks
will be reduced one percentage point from the beginning of this month. The Minister of Finance (Mr Tizard) said today that this would release about $12.2m into circulation—which banks would be directed to lend only for housing.
