Bicyclist ‘fair’
A young girl is in a fair condition in the resuscitation ward at Christchurch Hospital with injuries suffered when she was knocked from her bicycle by a car yesterday. The girl, Audrev Joy Newton, aged 13, of 59 Laurence Street, Linwood, suffered head and leg injuries in the accident at the intersection of Ferry Road and Aidwins Road, Linwood, at 3 p.m. She is on the seriously ill list.
