Properties passed in
Two suburban properties offered at auction in Christchurch on Tuesday failed to find a buyer. One, a 40-perch industrial section in Orbell Street, Sydenham, was passed in at 536.000. almost 10 times its I Government valuation (1969) of $3650.
The other property, a 68perch section zoned Residential 2, with an old house and barn on it, and frontages to Keogh’s Lane and Ranfurly Street, St Albans, was passed in at $24,000. There is no Government valuation. The auctioneer was Mr C. M. Robertson, of Sherris and Wilson, Ltd.
