DAVIS TO ASSIST
The Canterbury Rugby half-back and vice-captain, Lyn Davis, has been appointed assistant coach for the Suburbs seniors this year. He will serve under Mr R. de Malmanche, who was coach of the club’s senior reserve team in 1974. A former West Coast footballer, Mr de Malmanche joined Suburbs last year.
