Security Service
Sir, — Your correspondent “Mr 1984” says it is ‘indeed correct’ to consign our Security Intelligence Service to the slagheap of discarded nastiness. He also suggests that our “security” service turn over its files so that its methods, and the faceless men behind it are publicly known. The average patriotic New Zealander would not be so stupid as this especially when faceless men ask it of them. — Yours etc., 1975. February 25, 1975.
