Mrs Chad Varah. will (leave London today for a two-month tour which will include Australia. New ZeaI land and Pacific branches of I the organisation. The Mothers' Union is a I voluntary ><>ciety which describes itself as “employing I full-time overseas workers ‘to adapt to the needs of people in the various countries within the Anglican . community.' The society has more than 1100,000 members in 130 ioverseas dioceses This will be the first Far ; East tour by the president, and follows two years of meetings which oversea--I representatives have attended jin London Among the countries Mrs Varah will visit are Korea. Sri Lanka, Australi . New j Zealand, and New Guinea She will arrive in Port Moresby on March 15. Auckland on March 27. and Bns .bane on April 6. In New Zealand the Mothers' Union has been renamed the Anglican ; Association of Women
