Apprentice suspended
The Washdyke apprentice B. ■ White, was suspended up till and including March 1 by the judi- ' cial committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club yesterday. White, the rider of HeUenic, :in the second division of the Russley Handicap, had allowed his mount to shift ground when not clear of Macavin (J. D. Pankhurst) and Ronnie Renald ‘A. K. Robinson) about 200 metres after the start.
