BETTING
Patrons at Riccarton yesterday invested $189,128 on the course. This figure was $18,589 less than the total handled last year when the Benson and Hedges InterIsland was held during the Commonwealth Games in Christchurch. Investments with the Totalisator Agency Board yesterday amounted to $500,917.50. This was $19,389.50 up on last year’s figure.
