On completing the course candidates will sit an examination for the Royal Society of Health, Diploma in Health Education. Successful candidates will then be assigned to one of the 18 Health Districts. Applicants should be aged 21-35 years. The minimum educational qualification is University Entrance plus tertiary education. Preference will be given to a graduate. The duties of a Health Education Officer cover planning and co-ordinating the educational component of health programmes according to the needs of the Health District.
