Kneecap shooting
Two men believed to be victims of an I.R.A. kangaroo court were found shot through the knee caps in Belfast’s Lower Falls today. They had been picked up by three hooded men and driven to the street where they were shot. They were taken to hospital, where their condition was said to be “not serious.”—Belfast, Feb. 24.
