Kawerau men properly paid
(N.Z. Press Association! AUCKLAND, Feb. 24. A number of labourers and scaffolders employed by ! Fletcher Construction at Kawerau have lost their bid to gain more money for workling on New Zealand Day. I The Auckland Industrial
Conciliator (Mr F. M. Gebric) asked by the parties to interpret the agreement covering the workers, has found that the employer made the proper payments. More than 1000 workers walked off the site of the paper mill extensions over the issue earlier this month.
