Tenders FOR LEASE BY TENDER APPLICATIONS are invited for the lease by tender of the following businesses situated at the top of THE SKYLINE CABLEWAY, BOB’S PEAK, QUEENSTOWN. (a) LICENSED RESTAURANT The Licensed Restaurant consists of dining room and conference area for approximately 250 diners with a large lounge and bar facilities adjacent to the dining area and includes a modem kitchen for the preparation of food. The total area of the restaurant and lounge exceeds 6000 sq. ft. A substantial turnover is already being generated by the restaurant and over 50,000 diners used the facilities last year. (b) CHALET CAFETERIA The Chalet area comprises approximately 1500 sq. ft and includes food bars and kitchen area for the preparation of food. This business could easily be managed by a capable woman. The annual patronage of the Chalet is in excess of 140,000 visitors per annum. (c) SOUVENIR SHOP The Souvenir Shop is adjacent to the Chalet and food bars, but is separately partitioned and is able to be managed by one or two persons. Profitability on souvenirs is high and turnover is substantial. GENERAL The gondola trip serving these businesses is considered to be one of the most popular attractions in Queenstown and the annual volume of passengers is increasing rapidly. The Directors will give considerable emphasis to quality of service the applicant intends to introduce to the respective businesses.
