ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY MANUFACTURING MANAGER is required by a soundly established organisation which is a leader in its field and which manufacturer* and markets a wide range of electronic equipment, including television, throughout New Zealand. DUTIES: To learn the manufacturing techniques that have been developed by the company and quickly to accept executive responsibility for the production of a diversified range of precision built electronic products for the consumer market, with particular reference to audio products. QUALIFICATIONS: Age range flexible; must have had previous experience in a comparable manufacturing operation and have the capacity to plan, co-ordinate and supervise production, observing a uniformly high standard throughout the plant. Ability to direct and motivate staff is a key responsibility. SALARY: An attractive commencing salary is offered which will fully reflect the responsibility of the appointment; there are opportunities for further advancement within two years. Assistance will be given with relocation expenses where applicable.
