DUNEDIN CITY CORPORATION CUMBERLAND STREET OVERBRIDGE—SUPERSTRUCTURE MAIN CONTRACTORS are invited to register their intention to tender for the above contract by paying a deposit of $75 for the issue of contract documents when they become available in March. The contract comprises the folowing works: — (a) The construction of nine sets of reinforced concrete columns and pile caps. (b) The construction of a post stressed sft deep box girder superstructure which has a total length of approximately 1400 ft of varying spans up to a maximum of 112 ft. The cross section width generally varies from 25it to 36.5 ft. Four of the approach ramps have horizontal radii varying from 100 ft to 200 ft. In addition to the above-mentioned works there are two pedestrian access ramps, abutment structures and associated roadworks. The site for the overbridge is betwen Crawford Street, Wharf Street and Jetty Street as marked by the present foundation contract work. Documents will be issued to selected contractors on approximately the 10th of March and ' tenders will close on Thursday, the 17th of April. Deposits on documents will be refunded on receipt of a bona fide tender and the return of the documents.
