Concern for the environ- ! ment was being overi shadowed in 1975 by reces-l ■sion, world inflation, and the continuing debate on energy ■uses, the Minister of Health ■(Mr McGuigan) said today. Speaking at the closing jsession of the international' 'clean air conference in Roto-i, rua, the Minister said it would be unrealistic not to accept that current world problems had made the en- \ forcement of clean air legislation more difficult. “Being positive, we should look on this period as an opportunity for consoli- ■ dation—a breathing space in which to find answers to still unsolved questions and to review legislative and enforcement procedures," he I said. ji
