Colourful carpets
Cheaper, more colourful and more competitive New Zealand tufted woollen carpets are now being sold by a New Zealand company with the aid of an Australiandeveloped carpet-printing process.
When the process won an Australian design award last year, it was suitable only for synthetic carpets. But now Godfrey Hirst, Ltd, of Geelong, and Kensington Carpets (N.Z.), Ltd, have found out how to make it work for wool.
