Building must ‘be made safe’
Notice has been served by the Waimairi County Council on Polypropylene Industries. Ltd, asking the firm to make safe its factory at 73 Stur- ! rocks Road. The County Engineer (Mr A. J. W. Lamb) told a meeting of the council last evening of the council on Thursday evening that the factory had been found to be unsafe, and that it had not been 'constructed in accordance
with the building permit. A relatively small amount of work was needed to make (the building safe, said Mr Lamb. The building could beI come a hazard in high winds.
