Museum fund $17,215
A total of $17,215 is in sight in the building fund for the extension of the Langlois-Eteveneaux House Museum at Akaroa.
An appeal over the school holidays raised $5217 in cash, and $5849 has been promised, to be added to the $10,705 already in the fund at the opening of the appeal. The target of the appeal is $20,000. The 42ft by 40ft extension planned at the rear of the museum is estimated to cost $30,000. A Government subsidy of $1 for $2 has been promised.
