Cook relic sold
(X.Z P A. Staff Correspondent SYDNEY. Feb. 19. I A compass which once be- ‘ longed to Captain Cook was. sold to a Svdnev collector* , today for 84050. The collector declined toi give his name. It is understood that he recently suf-; fered a big burglarv at his’ home.
Yesterday, the Federal Attorney-General (Mr K. E. Enderby), said the compass would be covered by Australia's new ban on exports lof historic relics.
