‘Keep seat, Mr Watt’

AUCKLAND, Feb. 20.
The Onehunga Labour Representation Committee will ask the Minister of Works (Mr Watt) to retain the seat until the next General Election.
Mr Watt will leave next month to take up his post as High Commissioner in London.
A spokesman for the Onehunga committee said the decision was unanimous. Its meeting had been called at the request of Mr Watt.
