Huge claim in court
| <N.Z. Press Association) i PALMERSTON NORTH, February 20. A $400,000 claim for genieral and special damages has been filed in the Palmerston ) North Supreme Court. I The claim is the highest filed with the court and is probably one of the largest, if not the largest, filed in New Zealand. The claim is on behalf ofj ■a young man who was sev|erely injured in a motor accident at the intersection of; No. 1 Line and Rongotea Road in July, 1971.
Appointment. —Mr lan Hay, S.M., has been appointed [the Maritime Appeal Authorlity for a term of three years. His appointment, by the Minister of Transport (Sir Basil Arthur) was gazetted last evening.—(P.A.) '
