Grocery chain management changes

The ‘‘Four Square’ and “New World" grocery organi. sation. Foodstuffs Wellington Co-Operative Society, Ltd, is to run the Self Help supermarket business in the [southern half of the North I Island. The arrangement was announced by the managing .director of the Self Help [Co-op. Ltd (Mr J. Sutherland) and the managing director of Foodstuffs (Mr R. L. Whvte).
Under the arrangement Foodstuffs will in future run all the supermarket business of Nation Distributors, Ltd, the Self Help company. The 39 supermarket and minimarkets which extend from Wellington to Gisbome will continue to carry the Self Helo name.
AH Self Help and National Distributors staff will continue to be employed by Foodstuffs, the statement said.
