BETTYLYN REPLACES FIORE IN INTER-ISLAND FIELD

Bettylyn has been brought into the South Island “team"’ for the Benson and Hedges Interdsland event at Riccarton next Tuesday.

She is the replacement for Fiore, and while she will go into the race without worthwhile for'n close up she has, fair claim for inclusion in a weakened team after wins at her first three starts this season, one of them in the New Zealand Cup Trial at Motukarara. 1 Warlight is on the standby list for the South Island The North Island team is unchanged. Four of its members. Guest Star, lechyd, Fort Hagen, and Four Leaf are in th<- field fur the Rangitikei Cup on Saturday, and the resul* of that race will help to shape favouritism for the Canterbury Jockey Clubs feature on Tuesday. The F.A.B. concession double will be on the Benson and Hedges Inter-Island and the Suburban Handicaps.i There will be an on-course “true” concession double on the divisions of the Russley Handicap and an on-course exchange concession double on the Ferrymead Highweight and the Russley Handicap.
