Mrs Tizard to chair session
cv.z. Press Asuociation) WELLINGTON, Feb. 19. Mrs Catherine Tizard, the wife of the Acting Prime Minister, has agreed to chair the main plenary session of the [United Women’s Convention Ito be held in Wellington in June. The convention’s main speaker will be the American anthropologist. Dr Margaret Mead. More than two thousand women from all over New Zealand are expected to attend.
Divorced. — The singer, Andy Williams, has been divorced from his wife, Claudine. The couple were married in 1961 but had been separated for the last four years.
