ROLLESTON CITY
Action by company An action has been filed fn the Christchurch Supreme Court which seeks to have the notice of confirmation of intention of the Minister of Works and Development (Mr: Watt) to take land under the' Public Works Act for the: proposed city of Rolleston' declared invalid. The action, filed under theJudicature Amendment Act,: 1972 by South Road Farm, Ltd,’alleges that the notice given by the Minister on November 20, 1974, was invalid because the Minister had not considered the report and recommendations of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board and because objections had not been heard. The notice of motion was filed by Mr S. R. Maling for South' Road Farm. Ltd, through a director, Mr D. G. Watson, who is also chairman of the Rolleston Land Owners’ Committee.
